The consumer demands require efficient, effective and flexible responses in the markets, hence for firms involved in such markets acting as isolated entities may represent a limitation to compete and are forced to undertake integration strategies to be interconnected with other firms’ networks, where suppliers and customers are included. The organizations cooperate within this network to sustain or improve their competitive position. The aim of this paper is to identify the link between the supply chain approach and the paradigm StructureConduct-Performance Model in order to propose a tool for analyzing the strategic behavior of the firms in the supply chain.
